backlinks count depends on how often backlinks checker updated their database, it is not about indexing.

@mathros a sitemap is supposed to be links to pages on YOUR site. If you're using Wordpress you could use a plugin to generate the sitemap file. Maybe this one would work, I don't know I haven't used it; https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/.

As far as I understand, quick backlink indexing with sitemaps is not an option. This method is intended for indexing site pages.

So, the question remains open, maybe someone solved a similar problem, tell me in which direction to move.

I am also interested in setting up robots.txt for a WordPress site. Please help me.

@mathros robots.txt comes with a default setting but you can add a plugin to modify it.
